Work finds you faster in good company
A crew is a group with a reason to exist — a trade, a suburb, a shift pattern, a graduating year. Somebody in it hears about a job, and everybody in it hears about it the same minute. That's how work has always actually travelled; Mixr just gives it a room.
Crews are private to their members. No public follower count, no outsiders reading over your shoulder, and nothing you say in one gets surfaced to strangers.
Start one in a minute
Name it, add the people you already know, and let them add the people they know. A crew is useful at five members and better at fifty.
Leads land where they're useful
Post the job board listing to your crew, or just say who's short-handed on Thursday. Either way it reaches people who can actually take it.
You control the door
Whoever starts a crew can rename it and add or remove members, and any member can walk out at any time. No moderators you've never met.

Text by design, not by accident
There are no photo uploads, because a photo feed is a competition and this isn't one. Avatars are your initials. Posts are what you wrote. What you get back is a network you can read in five minutes and then put down.
Your posts, messages and profile belong to you. Nothing is sold on to anybody, there is no advertising, and you can delete your account from inside the app whenever you like.
Not now, not later. Subscriptions are how Mixr pays for itself.

Is it really free?
Yes. Post, connect with up to twenty people and read the whole job board without paying anything or entering a card.
Do you sell my data?
No. There is no advertising, no analytics SDK and no data brokerage. Subscriptions are the whole business model.
Why can't I post photos?
Because the moment you can, everyone has to. Mixr is text and initials on purpose — it keeps the feed about the work.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. Android first, and iOS once the Android build has settled. Ask to be told when it lands.
Can I delete my account?
Any time, from inside the app — Profile, then Delete account. Your profile goes with it. No email to write, no retention hoops.
What stops a crew turning into a group chat nobody reads?
A reason to exist and a door that works. Crews are built around one trade, place or intake, and whoever started it can remove people — so the ones that stay useful stay small enough to matter.
